FAVORITE QUOTES

“Fall seven times, stand up eight”

The quote is a Japanese proverb that translates to Nana korobi, ya oki

I have always been a fish as my family says. I have loved the water since I was a little girl. I started swimming when I was four years old. Swimming was my entire life. That passion carried over into teaching and I love helping people of all ages get over that fear and anxiety of being in the water and getting them water safe! I was on multiple teams and had the opportunity to swim in several different states due to competing. I competed in USA Zones several times, USA Sectionals and Open Water Zones. Some of my favorite places I swam at was IUPUI in Indianapolis Indiana, The Ohio State University, University of Pittsburgh, University of Michigan, Clearwater Florida and many more!

My friends and family would describe me as strong, loving, caring, and helpful. I don’t give up easy. If I truly love something I pour my entire heart and soul into it. I have always been the person that genuinely loves teaching and being that helping hand you can count on. The best part for me is seeing the growth, or the outcome when you stay dedicated. It is rewarding to see success and know that I can help make even the smallest difference in another persons life.
