5 FUN FACTS ABOUT ME

  • During my senior year of high school, my mom and I went to Florida together as part of a school trip and we got to go into Cinderella's castle together and got pixie dust sprinkled on our heads.

  • I first learned to paddle board when I was thirteen years old and have been doing every chance I got since.

  • When I was younger, my family used to have dobermans. And now they're enjoying have a small beagle named Bear being part of the family.

  • I love to travel! I have only been to one other country out of the United States, but I have already visited 11 other states outside of Ohio.

  • I learned how to swim around the same time that I learned how to walk. Growing up, my parents called me their little fishy. Although, I don't know if that was because of my love for swimming or my love for the movie Finding Nemo.

Growing up, I was always by the water. My parents used to have an above ground pool in our backyard and we would spend almost everyday in there. My grandpa also has a boat at a private marina, and my family and I go on vacations to our little cottage on the beach. I never knew not loving the water. As I got older, my mom put me on our local swim team and I loved it. I would even volunteer to stay after practice and teach the younger kids how to swim. And I loved it! It made me want to be a swim coach in the future. When I got older, life got in the way and I had to leave the swim team, but my love for the sport never went away. I would do laps at the pool or even do open water swims whenever I could. I would also paddle board and kayak every summer. I believe that even though swimming can be hard work, it is also a lot of fun.
