I've lived in Korea and Hawaii and have only been in Ohio since June 2023
I've been doing art my whole life
My dream is to open my own animal rescue
I have two cats; Haku and Mei, named after my favorite Studio Ghibli movies
My parents used to call me “Dr. Bug” when I was younger because I loved bugs and also wanted to get my PHD. 🥼🪲 Now, I just go by “Bug” because I like how cute it sounds!

Hi! My name is Alisha but I also like to go by Bug! 🪲
I have loved swimming since I was little and love any opportunity to be in the water. I started out on the swim team, and then became a lifeguard and swim instructor. I absolutely LOVE teaching children how to swim, because I think it is an extremely important and rewarding skill to have! I always try to find new and creative ways to bond with my students and make lessons as fun as possible!
My favorite animal is the sea otter, I think they are so cute, especially when they hold hands to prevent from floating away! I am also an avid art enthusiast and favor Oil painting and charcoal drawing over all other mediums! I want to professionally sell my art one day, and am actively working towards making that dream come true. Maybe one day you'll see my art somewhere!
My long term dream is to use my career as an artist to fund the opening of my own animal sanctuary! I ADORE animals and have very few animals I don't like or wouldn't care for. I want to be someone who can help as many animals as possible and give them the love they truly deserve.
