A great way to improve your swimming is to attend a Liquid Lifestyles Swim Shoot. Our advanced Multi-Angle-Recording-System (MARS Rover) allows us to film you simultaneously from above and below the waterline. You will be able to see what you are actually doing compared to what you think you are doing.
Body awareness while swimming is often difficult to achieve and video analysis is a powerful tool to help you develop that skill and improve your stroke. We can slow things down so you can see what is happening, when it’s happening and help you connect the dots between the cause and effect of any technique inefficiencies.
When analyzing your videos, we will be able to identify if you have any balance issues caused by head or lead arm positioning errors, length and timing issues caused by impatient lead arms, see the power loss caused by under or over-rotation during the stroke and identify breathing that is either too late or too early in the cycle, which is often the culprit if you have trouble breathing to both sides.
We will also be able to dissect a host of other issues, such as recovery arm mechanics, stroke width and tracking, kick technique deficiencies or being out of sync with the lead driving arm. As part of the clinic, you will be provided with personalized drills for improvement. Many of our clients chose to attend multiple clinics over time as they like the video evidence of their dramatic improvements.
